learning trajectory teams
The structure of the educational program should be clear to students and teachers. To clarify the coherence in the programme, so-called learning trajectories have been established. Learning trajectories should be sustainable and regularly maintained. The quality and continuity of the learning trajectories as a whole must be ensured, with a dedicated “trajectory” team responsible for the quality cycle of the learning trajectory, including the skills within it. A separate learning trajectory has been established for academic skills and professional behavior in the bachelor’s programme. Each team meets periodically (annually) to evaluate, renew, and align the learning units.
It is important to clearly distinguish between the responsibilities at the trajectory level versus the course level: the learning trajectory teams are responsible for structurally ensuring the quality and continuity of the trajectories as a whole, while the course coordinator is responsible for ensuring the quality at a course level. The learning trajectory team verifies whether the components of the learning trajectory are adequately assessed within the various courses and whether the relevant learning outcomes are achieved. The learning trajecotry teams have an evaluating and signaling function and no direct steering role, they advise the programme director. The learning trajecotry teams are appointed by the programme director of the Bachelor of Pharmacy and the Master of Pharmacy, respectively.
