Het departement Farmaceutische Wetenschappen verzorgt drie opleidingen: de bachelor Farmacie, inclusief het College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CPS) , de master Farmacieen de master Drug Innovation.
De bachelor en master Farmacie vormen samen de zesjarige opleiding tot apotheker. Een student met een bachelor Farmacie kan daarnaast ook instromen in de master Drug Innovation of in een andere (Life Science) researchmaster aan de Universiteit Utrecht of elders.
Het College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CPS) is een Engelstalige (honours) bacheloropleiding die studenten opleidt tot onderzoekers in de Farmaceutische Wetenschappen. Na het CPS kan een student doorstromen naar de tweejarige master Drug Innovation of een andere (Life Science) researchmaster. Een CPS-student kan ook toegelaten worden tot de master Farmacie, maar zal daarvoor enkele aanvullende cursussen moeten volgen bijv. in de profileringsruimte binnen het CPS.
